ARMED SECURITY (CIT)

Armed CIT guard courses and training in Perth

NEW STUDENTS

The transport, delivery and collection of valuable goods, (cash in transit CIT operations) is any service provided whereby a company or persons are involved in the transportation of valuable goods such as cash, securities, jewels, bullion and any other financial goods on behalf of other persons or organisations while carrying a firearm.

CIT operations may include any of the following;

  • Escort services in an armoured vehicle
  • Soft-skin services
  • Maintenance of security equipment
  • Maintenance of ATM equipment
  • Static Armed Guarding (Authorised Permit only)

If you are a new to the Security Industry and wish to pursue a career in within the CIT section, you must first satisfactorily complete the pre-requisite Certificate III in Security Operations course. Once you have successfully completed the required core components of this course, you will then move onto the elective components that will provide you with the necessary skills set to work within the CIT as an armed guard.

EXISTING EMPLOYEES

If you are already employed within the security industry, however you do not have the skills set of conducting Armed Guard duties, now is the time to get yourself trained and qualified. You will be provided with first class instruction that will provide you with the required skills and knowledge to perform the tasks required by an Armed Guard.

ARMED GUARD REQUALIFICATION

SIG SAUER Academy, being a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), is able to offer to CIT employees who already have their Armed Guard endorsement on their licence, the services of the Bi-annual requalification shoot at their authorised live fire range.

The SIG SAUER Academy Firearm safety and instruction in company with the re-qualification shoot is delivered by competent and experienced instructors, who promote confidence and above all else safety.
